Marrakech To Imlil High Atlas Mountains

Your Marrakech atlas mountains half-day excursion will begin around 8:30 a.m., after which you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech.

Then started to drive toward Imlil, which may take 1 hour of driving. Your first stop will be at a local women's cooperative, where a wide range of argan oil-based goods and other cosmetic products are manufactured.

The argan ladies will teach you about the whole process, and seeing it in action is fascinating. A quick free breakfast will be provided to you at a cooperative before continuing the route to the Asni villages.

The most popular times at Asni are on Saturdays when the Berber weekly market is held. People from Imlil and other Berber villages throughout the valley come to shop. Meat, vegetables and other items. The most important is that the people come there to meet and see together and share a delicious lunch before leaving.

Be prepared to reach Imlil as the hike begins through the Berber villages and near the oldest Kasbah in Imlil (Kasbah Toubkal). Continue to the waterfalls for fresh orange juice, before climbing up to the 82,677.17-inch village.
